Meet the Fanzinis...

How can it be possible in just one man, one Italian, one Ronaldo Fanzini? So much talent, such rugged features, so many interests, such odd hair?

Being brothers, Ronaldo hails from the same pleasant Gaeltacht Italian village as Guido. This sunny spot, the smallest Irish Gaeltacht in Italy, had some lovely canals. These inspired our hero to travel to Venice and live out his life-long dream of becoming a gondolier. This he succeeded in doing and many carefree days were given whooshing tourists along the canals of this beautiful city, the Venice of the Venice. Tragically these halcyon days were cut short when 32 of the gondolas in Ronaldo's stewardship sank mysteriously soaking everyone aboard. Ronaldo could not face life without a gondola and wandered the streets destitute. His hair grew, and grew, out and out it went, birds made their home in his afro nest, strangers called out to him on the street, “hey Sideshow Bob” they called. It was then, while teaming up with his brother Guido that Ronaldo decided to give people a real reason to shout for him.

These two Irish speaking Italian Kerrymen brothers teamed up to become the Fanzini Brothers and the world is a happier and insaner place since.

Born in the high mountains of Italy in a little village called Quanto Questo del Nostrodamata. This Fanzini spent most of his formative years as a child.Since then progress has been slow. It is not known what strange conglomeration of conditions combined to create this man mountain but all of the conditions were right for the creation of one of the most talented entertainers that the world has never known.

Guido was 18 when he ran away from his childhood home to pursue his dreams of becoming one of the worlds premier designers of cutting edge haute couture (that's fancy clothes).Guido was well on his way to world domination in the fashion world when he was struck down with a cruel blow. He developed an allergy to cotton rich fabrics. Happily however fashions loss has been the worlds gain it was due to this terrible tragedy that Guido discovered his talent for making people laugh. Guido gave up the fashion in order to concentrate on the tricks and since then he has never looked back (except when reversing).

He joined the Milan School of clowning and acrobatics in 1988 but sadly the school was destroyed shortly afterwards in an unexplained fire. He then transferred to the London School of Juggling which collapsed in suspicious circumstances. There followed a period with the Russian National Circus until the demise of this organisation. Following these mishaps Guido decided (following consultation with his insurers) that for everyone's sake it would be better if he struck out on his own or at least work with a partner who has as much grace and intelligence as himself.

After searching for years Guido realised that he would never find anyone with these qualities. That's how he ended up working with Ronaldo who has no grace or intelligence but looks good in chiffon and lace.
